organization involved in the rescue, care and placement of companion animals.

2023

“Paws Across Pittsburgh is a non-profit foster-based animal rescue that works to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home homeless, abused and unwanted dogs and cats. Together with our volunteers and foster parents, PAWS has helped hundreds of animals find a new life in their forever homes.” – PAWS ACROSS PITTSBURGH

Previous charities include Going Home Greyhounds, Inc in Wexford, Hide-E-Hole Ferret Rescue in Mt. Oliver, Clarion PAWS in Clarion, and White Oak Animal Safe Haven in White Oak, and The Awesome Spirit of Wildlife.

2022

Paws Across Pittsburgh is an all volunteer home based foster organization. In just a little over 6 years, over 4,000 animals have been saved. Paws has several specialty programs for injured/disabled dogs & seniors dogs.

2021

In 2021, we had 392 attendees raise $13,358.75 for TASOW! That’s over $34 per person! Counting the first raffle fundraiser in 2005, this event has raised over $70,000 for charity!
